The Pentagon

Can we explore The Pentagon or just view the exterior of Pentagon when to take a ferry ride on the Potomac River? I am keen to read and looking your views in this regard because want to see this building inside but not sure is it allow or not? Will be free after some days and love to make a move ahead. So, need some quick replies here.
